GDGISN is nestled in the beautiful hills of the Kumaon region. It overlooks the Naukuchiatal Lake, one of the most holy and significant lakes in ‘Devbhoomi’. The campus is spread across 25 acres of mountainous terrain covered in a variety of flora and fauna that is also home to many migratory birds.

SOME OF THE IMPORTANT BLOCKS ARE

• Administrative Block

  The administrative block is the main block as it houses the various important offices such as the Office of the Chairman, Office of the Principal, Office of the Administrative Head and COO, Accounts and Finance, IT, Estate Manager’s Office, Administrative Office, Admissions Office etc.

• Senior Academy Block

  The Senior Academy is one of the most important blocks of the campus. Students of Classes IX to XII are taught in fully equipped classrooms that are Smart Class enabled. At GDGISN, we believe in a multi-dimensional teaching approach to cater to all the three types of learners; Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic, and hence we expose the students to Classroom, Practical and Audio Video learning sessions.

• Junior Academy Block

  The Junior Academy caters to the students of Classes I to VIII and are taught in fully equipped classrooms that are Smart Class enabled. At GDGISN, we believe in a multi-dimensional teaching approach to cater to all the three types of learners; Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic, and hence we expose the students to Classroom, Practical and Audio Video learning sessions.

• Mess and Dining Hall

  An ultra modern kitchen and bakery provides a balanced diet which is necessary for both a healthy mind and body. Our in-house chef, along with his special team, takes care of the nutritional value of each meal. Fresh meals are prepared for the boarders four times a day; breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The dorm parents assist the students in the mess and help them serve the food. The dining hall has the capacity to seat 250 students in a single shift.

• Boys Hostels

  • Junior hostel 1^st to 5^th Ground floor top floor 7^th & 8^th
  • Old Senior boys hostel Class 9^th
  • New Senior boys hostel 10^th, 11^th,12^th all three different floors

  The dormitories in the hostels are furnished and equipped to fully accommodate and comfort your child. The children are allocated their respective beds and cupboards for storage at the time of check-in and are not allowed to interchange the beds without the dorm parent’s permission and guidance.

  Each hostel accommodates four children in each dormitory. The children are looked after by their respective wardens/matrons assisted by their wardboys/ayahs. The hostels are equipped with washing machines, RO drinking water facility, supervised Television time.

• Girls Hostel

  The dormitories in the hostels are furnished and equipped to fully accommodate and comfort your child. The children are allocated their respective beds and cupboards for storage at the time of check-in and are not allowed to interchange the beds without the dorm parent’s permission and guidance.

• Sports Fields

  The campus has five sports fields; football, volleyball, basketball, cricket and lawn tennis

• Swimming Pool

  The swimming pool is half Olympic size,It is always maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Physical Training Room

  The in house gym meant for the ones who like to keep fit, offers a variety of weight training machines and equipment.

• Amphitheatre

  "An amphitheatre has been described as an open-air venue for entertainment,performances & sports.Located in the heart of GDGISN is the beautiful amphitheatre which can accomodate more than 300 persons.Built in the traditional roman style it is an inspiring structure which brings out the best in childrens performances."

• Staff Quarters

  Our teaching and administrative staff lives in the campus and resides in the 1BHK and 2BHK apartments. We have one of the best infrastructure when it comes to the security and safe being of the students with us. Professional security services have been hired to cover every inch within campus. C.C.TV cameras too aid in this process.

• Sports infrastructure:

  School provides facility of a number of sports fields and courts along with a well equipped Gym, sports room, billiards room, Yoga training and daily morning P.T.for physical fitness to be achieved and maintained. Archery is the new sport being introduced in the new academic session.

• Value aided classrooms:

  Each classroom is well equipped with smart boards and the latest smart class modules with upgraded content. A well equipped library with E-facility serves the needs of the students to cater to their thirst of reading.

  The auditorium or the performing Arts room in campus is built to enable the audience hear and watch the performances. • Gym:

  The gym in the campus is a dream come true for many heath conscious scholars and educators who are frequent visitors to the venue. Their health and fitness is kept under strict supervision of their mentors. The gym is well equipped with latest fitness equipments and this fitness center is the buzz of activity for many.
